an autumn in vienna

Located across the street from the Wiener Staatsoper, Hotel Bristol is an architectural delight in the evening. An autumn evening in Wien seems to compliment the warmth and elegance of this structure, the lines echoing the history of the city throughout each of the palace grounds. This was captured on my iPhone 6 from the steps of the Staatsoper, while I spent what seemed like an hour waiting for the night lights to turn on and of course, to people watch. This is one of my favorite nights ever. Perhaps because I am biased with my love for the city or perhaps, because for the first time in a long time, the sweet familiar sound of a violin found my soul.
